Continuing to explore the Temple of the Sun, the Qurikancha in Cusco Peru. I couldn’t get over how many examples and layers of architectural design precision and total design cosmic star alignment were housed in this area. It is said that the walls of this place was filled with gold plates top to bottom.

It’s one of those places which has those trippy subtle yet magnificent ancient energies when you catch a moment in a spot by yourself (if you’re patient enough to wait)….some days I wish I could be an archaeologist full time haha

Cusco - The Oldest City in South America 🇵🇪🦙🌞 •
There’s something quite inspiring seeing these perfectly fit large blocks of stone in person. So many questions and bewildered thoughts running through my mind. These foundations can withstand earthquakes…how old truly are these structures? •
I took my time to really study these stones and feel into the energy of this most magical place. It really did feel like many grand events have been witnessed in this location throughout time and space. Being in such an ancient site inspired so many amazing visions.

Walking through the Spanish church areas felt very peculiar; as if there were hidden entrances to caves in the area. I took a minute to sit in the church and envision how this place originally was designed. I couldn’t help but feel how ancient this city really was…

The precision and craftsmanship of the stonemasons are beyond comprehension, each block telling a story of ingenuity and resilience. Every corner of this sacred site seems to echo with the whispers of ancient ceremonies and cosmic alignments. The juxtaposition of Megalithic, Inca and Spanish architecture creates a palpable sense of history, truly an ancient future.

Today, I explore three of Barcelona’s oldest shops and brands where in March 2024 I walked through the historic streets of old Barcelona, visiting these remarkable heritage stores in person. For fellow history and civilization enthusiasts, I highly recommend these in your Barcelona itinerary.

1. Cereria Subira @cereriasubira 🕯️ Established in 1761, Cereria Subirà in Barcelona is the city’s oldest candle shop and oldest shop, renowned for its rich history of exquisite handcrafted candles and enduring legacy in traditional candle-making. •
2. El Rei de la Magia @elreidelamagia 🪄 Founded in 1881, El Rei de la Magia in Barcelona is one of the world’s oldest magic shops, preserving the art of illusion and enchantment through its extensive collection of magic tricks, performances, and educational workshops •

SPACE LOG ENTRY: MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU, 2024  Designing in a galaxy far, far away 🌌✨
Star Wars @starwars has a very special meaning to me. My Design career journey began after graduating from @fidm’s Graphic Design program in 2005, being hired as a graphic designer for the FIDM Museum Chapter and designing the museum’s groundbreaking e-commerce store for the first ever Star Wars Costume Design Gallery exhibit in the world! 🚀 •  From Darth Vader’s iconic suit to the original lightsabers and every costume and prop in between, I lived and breathed Star Wars for an unforgettable 4 months.
Capturing the essence of this legendary exhibit, the special edition book, “DRESSING A GALAXY: THE COSTUMES OF STAR WARS” by Star Wars Costume Designer Patricia Biggar was unveiled, offering unprecedented insight into the intricate designs and fabrics that brought the galaxy to life.

My role extended to creating the e-commerce store design that would sell this exclusive limited edition book, crafting supporting print materials for the gallery and officially licensed Star Wars merchandise (in which I had to receive clearance from the Lucas Arts Company), igniting my passion for upper echelon design. ✨
•
In these slides I’m sharing some of my earliest professional creations - from tees to flyers to official membership cards along side some newly rendered designs celebrating this grand memory.
•
My heart and soul will forever remember that time during the 3 month long exhibition, Lucas Arts brought a full-size X-wing to @fidm’s campus, complete with C3PO and R2D2 inside, transforming our school into a scene straight out of the Star Wars Galaxy.🛸
•
I am so appreciative of everyone that took a chance on me as a young fresh face designer and gave me the opportunity to start my career with something so meaningful and next level. It gave me insight into how a high caliber creative team ran and how high caliber design and presentation was curated and created. The roots of this experience are at the core of what I do as a creative to this day.

My design company @8thdaycreate had the wonderful opportunity to experience our first #Spannabis in #Barcelona, Spain the past few days along with @Skunkmagazine! As the publication’s #CreativeDirector, it was an amazing opportunity to see my design work in action! It’s always a humbling and happy experience.

I am so happy to present and share with you a few photos of the event and few awesome folks that caught my camera eye, here is the first set of 3. So many cool fashion forward and swagged out folks from around the world, too many to shoot haha.

Out of all the events and shows I have attended, #Spannabis was a next level experience on so many aspects.

#Spannabis felt like I was at the Canna-Olympics. The opportunity to meet so many people from all around the world in such a short time blew my mind! It truly felt like an Intergalactic United Nations Plant World Fair lol! I would highly recommend this show to any adventurous canna fam, it will truly leave an international impression on you. 🌐

Happy 8th Day everyone! And to all the women happy international women’s day! Today is truly a powerful and most opulent day of creativity.

I truly honor the divine feminine forces that have not only propelled humanity and civilization forward through space and time but have bestowed so much beauty, love, inspiration and grandeur to this realm. Wow.

Much appreciation, love and highest of respects to every woman that has come into my life; as lovers, as teachers, as healers, as divine muses, as the Earth herself who bears with us all and Mother Nature in all her beauty.

As a man I try my best daily to show up as a divine masculine counterpart, to diligently work and better myself in all levels so that the balance of these energies can be raised to the highest of creative opulent expression and love.

To be completely honest I have stumbled in this path of highest of reverences towards divine feminine in my own life and know the best thing I can do is to continually show up for daily practice in patience, kindness, love, integrity, and friendship not only towards all Earth women but to all beings in this Earth realm.

May these fields full of poppies be seen as a gift and representation of the boundless love, respect, creativity, honour and reverence I have for all divine feminine. Happy 8th Day from @8thdaycreate 😍😍😍

These granite structures stand as enduring monuments to the past's profound mysteries and the timeless flow of human creativity. Each carries the imprint of a civilization’s spirit, a coded language of the mineral kingdom revealing tales of epochs bathed in wonder and historical allure.

In moments of quiet contemplation, my mind travers

In moments of quiet contemplation, my mind traverses the vast landscapes of the antediluvian world, seeking the mysterious origins of the gigantic boulders that punctuate its realms. These monumental stones, silent guardians of ancient secrets, seem to hold within their formidable forms the essence of life’s primordial chapters.

I ponder with a blend of awe and curiosity the biological symphony that may have played a role in their majestic emergence. Were these colossal sculptures carved by the hands of unseen biological forces, or are they the remnants of a time when the earth breathed with a different rhythm?

Nopales and prickly pears flourish as the desert’s generous offerings, a luxurious bounty amidst the arid landscapes. These botanical jewels, with their unique textures and flavors, are a testament to nature's ingenuity in cultivating nourishment in the most unexpected places. Nopales, with their hearty, succulent pads, and prickly pears, with their lush, vibrant fruits, grace the culinary world with an abundance that speaks of resilience and vitality.

This year is my 10 year anniversary of embarking upon the path of #Vipassana meditation. I find myself navigating the labyrinth of existence with a heart attuned to the rhythms of introspection and enlightenment, showing up daily to practice. This journey, a sacred odyssey through the multitudinous layers and realms of consciousness, unfolds as a tapestry woven with threads of divine lessons and continuous self-betterment. Inspired by the compassionate spirit of the Buddha, each moment, each person, each place and each breath becomes an opportunity to cultivate patience, wisdom, kindness, and a profound understanding of life’s intricate melodies.

In the simple silence of meditation, the world reveals its transient beauty and profound teachings, guiding my steps towards a harmonious symphony of inner peace and universal love. My soul finds the nourishment to flourish on the path of spiritual evolution, aspiring to embody the timeless grace and benevolence of a Bodhisattva. May all beings be happy! 🙏🏼😁
